When: Paluxy Formation, Early/Lower Albian (112.0 - 109.0 Ma)

• beds are below "a 15 foot ledge of massive limestone (Goodland limestone of Fredericksburg age)" and are thought to "represent the upper part of the Paluxy formation deposited during latest Trinity or earliest Fredericksburg time" (early Albian: see Scott 1978)

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: marine; brown, yellow, sandy shale

• "a series of yellow and brown sandy clays and marls... The samples [are]... from the upper part of this fresh exposure of sandy shales"
